Technology Services Supervisor - Simon Sorensen

I have been with Palliser since August 2008. I love the challenges and rewards that supporting Technology in an educational setting provides. If there is something that the technology in a classroom cannot currently do, let me know and I'll endeavor to find a way to make it work.

      • Bio/Summary: Having graduated in 2012 with a B.A. in Biblical Studies and Pastoral Ministries, Calvin returned to Alberta in 2013 to pursue a career in Information Technology. In 2016, Calvin completed the 2 year Computer Information Technology program at Lethbridge College, which was capped off with a practicum at the Palliser School Division. Calvin began working as Palliser's Calgary-based computer technician in the summer of 2016. In May of 2022, Calvin moved on to the role of Network Analyst within the Palliser Technology Team.

        In his free time, Calvin studies languages, volunteers with
        an evangelism team, knits, writes, and generally tinkers with/dabbles in whatever sparks his imagination at the time.

      • Bio/Summary: I have been employed with Palliser for over 25 years and have served as the SIS Coordinator for about 15 years. I currently provide training and support for applications related to "Student Information" (SIS) to all Palliser schools, primarily working with school Admin staff.

I live in Lethbridge County, north of Picture Butte, where my husband and I run a family farming operation. Together we have raised three amazing children. Two sweet babies call us "Nana" and "Papa".

In her spare time Michaela also enjoys landscape and wildlife photography, travelling, and reading.
